IMPORTANT TIPS ABOUT SENDING BOXES

BOX – a double-walled corrugated thick box is highly recommended. We suggest that you place a plastic bag inside the box before putting the contents to protect them from being wet especially during rainy season.

TAPE – use a strong tape that can withstand pressure like a filament fiber packaging tape. Secure the box by putting tape on all corners to avoid pilferage. BLUE CARGOS provides free strapping services.

PEN – a waterproof-marking pen is advisable. Print boldly and legibly the shippers’ and consignee’s names, addresses and telephone numbers.

PACKING LIST – BLUE CARGOS requires an itemized listing of the contents of your box.

For easier and faster delivery, sketch the exact location, landmark or direction of consignee’s address at the back of the Packing List.

Advice your consignee to check the condition of the box and it should be noted on the delivery receipt.

Here's how it works - in 3 easy steps...

Step 1

Contact BLUE CARGOS to order your desired quantity of Balikbayan Boxes. We require at least € 10,-- downpayment/deposit per box ordered. This would be later deducted from the total amount to be paid.

Unless you plan to supply your own box, we will then arrange a time to come and deliver your boxes (within Vienna).

Step 2

In your own time, pack your Balikbayan Box or boxes. Please, don't forget to carefully pack your breakables. Use old clothes or bubble packs. Be sure to fill-up your Packing List provided by BLUE CARGOS or you may download & print at least 2 copies (1 is for BLUE CARGOS & 1 for you to keep as reference) for each box that you can find on our page AGBs & Download -->

There's no need to tie your boxes, BLUE CARGOS will do it for you!

Remember, there is NO weight limit, and NO rush!

Step 3

Contact BLUE CARGOS again to arrange collections of your box or boxes (within Vienna). When we come to pick up your box or boxes (within Vienna), we collect the rest of the payment and the packing list/s. Contact Us -->

03.	How long will it take to deliver my boxes?
	Approximately from date ship leaves from Hamburg. Please, TAKE NOTE, you need to count from the day the ship leaves in Hamburg and not from the day the box has been picked-up from your place.
	• Metro Manila 6 weeks • Luzon to 6 to 7 weeks • Visayas 7 to 8 weeks • Mindanao 7 to 8 weeks
	Note: Shipping dates may change without prior notice which may be caused by some uncontrollable circumstances (ship is in dry dock, mechanical problems, etc.). As well as delay in deliveries due to natural phenomenas like typhoon and flood. These circumstances are out of BLUE CARGOS control. Please inform us in advance of any eventual off-route/ remote area delivery.

04.	What are the sizes and rates of the BLUE CARGOS boxes?
	We have 2 boxes: Family and Mega (n/a). We accept regular boxes or any size box. To find out dimensions and rates, click Rates & Promos. The BLUE CARGOS Boxes are specially designed high-density boxes (39D) to take the heavy weight they require.

05.	What is the weight limit per box?
	There is no weight limit as long as can be carried and accepted by us. PLease be aware the flaps of the box must meet.

	Personal goods, groceries, clothes, small electrical appliances, gifts – in non-commercial quantities.

	For the months of January to June, we are shipping every 6 weeks. For the months of July to December, we ship monthly.

	1. Call the BLUE CARGOS office for Free Box Delivery or get a box at our Head Office at Invalidenstrasse 15/EG/TOP L17, A-1030 Wien. 2. Pack your box properly and fill up the provided packing lists (download here: AGBs & Downloads (3x, yellow sheet remains as your copy, white and blue are for BLUE CARGOS) 3. Call BLUE CARGOS office to have your box scheduled for pick up (within Vienna).
